North West charities and the children & families they work with are in for a Christmas treat this year, when the organisers of Winter Wonderland, the UK’s largest indoor Christmas theme park, throw open their doors ahead of the park being open to the public, for an exclusive charity evening on Tuesday 17 December.

Winter Wonderland takes place at EventCity next to The Trafford Centre in Manchester and is open to the public from Wednesday 18 December 2013 until Sun 5 January 2014

Winter Wonderland will be giving away 3000 tickets for the charity evening. Some have already been allocated to deserving causes but there are a limited number of free tickets still available for appropriate charities to apply for.

Charity representatives should contact Claire Harris at Bill Elms Associates office for more details on; making sure to include the following information: Name and website address of charity, registered charity number, and the number of tickets required.

Tickets are subject to availability and offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Tammy Silcock, organiser of Winter Wonderland said: “We wanted to offer North West children and families a chance to enjoy our amazing Winter Wonderland whatever their circumstances, hence us organising this special charity evening. I can’t wait to see our guests enjoying the spectacle of rides, shows and other magical attractions.”

Make the whole family’s Christmas dreams come true with a fantastic festive adventure that will still be talked about next Christmas. Complete with over 30 family rides including Fun House, Runaway Train, Hulk, Waltzers, Master Blaster, Bouncy Castle Adventure, Ghost Train, Tea Cups and much more.

In between the rides and the thrill of the fair, there will be two spectacular family theatrical shows to enjoy. The Christmas Circus is in town complete with big top and promises to deliver the finest collection of circus acts to leave you marvelled and amazed. Then ‘Izzy, wizzy, let’s get busy’ with The Sooty Show – stars of the longest running children’s television show, Sooty, Sweep and Soo are set to delight families as they bring their unique show of magic and mischief.

There will also be a whole host of games stalls and a vast array of food and drink stalls where hot snacks and sweet treats including candy floss, popcorn and snow cones will be available for purchase.

If all that wasn’t enough, there will also be an extra special visitor – Santa Claus will be taking time out of his busy schedule for ‘Meets and Greets’ with all children and will be at Winter Wonderland up to and including the 24 December.

Winter Wonderland is operated on a session basis to ensure visitors can enjoy the experience without overcrowding. Tickets to this event are limited and we strongly advise that tickets are booked early to avoid disappointment. Do not miss the Christmas event of the year Winter Wonderland at EventCity from 18 December 2013 – 5 January 2014.
